Lyrical dance is very emotional and requires a high level of performance to convey the message of the dance. The variety of movement is exciting for kids, especially if they get bored with one style. Over the years, our CSD teachers have educated and inspired thousands of individuals by using established and renowned syllabus structures, as well as their artistic talents, to train award-winning and high-achieving dancers. It is a great dance style to learn kids because they can easily relate to that emotional content. It has been made famous by productions such as those of Cirque du Soleil and the emotional content of it appeals to many people. Lyrical dance combines both of these older styles of dance and some experience with them can help you learn this style – although this isn’t compulsory to take lyrical dance lessons.
